“This seems just like
a movie set!” she exclaimed.
He laughed. Thinking
how even little things excited her. It was one of the qualities he loved in
her.
But he wouldn’t tell
her that. As always.
“You are such a city girl.
Getting excited at a light house! Really?”he asked.
“It’s not just a
lighthouse! It...It...It’s a beautiful light house!”she stuttered.
“Yaa right!” He
looked at her, crinkled eyes and a breath taking smile.
She dint like giving in,
wanted to be right always. He knew it
and loved to see her face when she was about to admit he was right.
But
he wouldn’t tell her that. As always.
“Ohh...Alright!! It’s
just a light house. And I don’t get to
see much of them
in my city. Fine!” She said
giving in.
But in her head she
knew that it was special for more reasons. It was special because she was here
with him.
But she wouldn’t tell
him that. As always.
“You know this is a
perfect setting for a romantic twist in a story. The sea, waves, twilight
and a light house!! Here the guy realizes that he loves the girl and can’t live
without her. Sigh!”She said looking at him.
“Hmm… and then what
happens? Does the girl also realize the same?”He asked, staring right into her
eyes.
She looked at him and
stumbled. No, she did not fall. She stumbled in her head! Her mind was swinging
high on a swing.
The stare he gave her
was not his usual one. There was something else in his question.
“Hmm…”she bought time
to try and get her mind off the swing. But failed.
“What? The girl
doesn’t love him?”He asked,eyebrows raised.
“No! No! She does.
More than he could imagine!”She burst out.
Thud! In her head she
had fallen off the swing!
He heaved a sigh of relief
in his head. He had been scared. Scared to know that he knew wrong. But
her answer made it clear. She loved him too. As much as he did.
But he wouldn’t tell
her that. As always.
“Smart girl! The guy would
have jumped into the sea otherwise! That’s why he chose the place.” he said,
walking towards his bike, a crooked smile on his face.
She knew she
had not read wrong. He did love her. She wanted to jump with joy or maybe get
back on that swing and swing high! She decided on the latter.
But she wouldn’t tell
him that. As always.
"The girl is
much more than smart!"she said getting on the bike.
Wow... :)
